Often considered the most precious of black teas, Darjeeling can be thought of as the "Rolls-Royce of teas". It is harvested at high altitudes on the Himalayas and it is among the most sought after teas in the world. The resulting golden-bronze liquor is well-balanced, with hints of green leaves and muscatel notes.

Light brown leaves with white and green tips. Brilliant light hazelnut-colored infusion.

Natural, soft, slightly floral sweet. Always delicate and well balanced. Almost total absence of astringents. Delicate and persistent finish.

pairings

Excellent choice as an afternoon tea. It goes perfectly with small dry pastry, particularly those with jam.
