Oolong semi-fermented tea is renowned for its particular taste. This mixture is enriched by the fragrant Chinese star anise that gives the infusion an elegant spicy note. Coriander seeds complete this melange with a refreshing and tasty note.

Characteristic oolong tea and Chinese star anise, followed by the fresh and slightly citrus-like note of coriander.

appearance

Large leaves of dark fermented oolong tea, whole and broken Chinese star anise, coriander seeds. Clear hazelnut-colored liquor.

taste

The palate immediately perceives the brilliant marriage between oolong tea and star anise; both flavors are clearly distinguishable, but together they form a natural and logical union. A light and fresh note of coriander appears slightly afterwards, to balance and support the finish.

pairings

Pairs effortlessly with Asian cuisine, in particular recipes that use 5-spices. It's a perfect match for dishes with intensly flavored meat broths. It is one of the very few teas capable of supporting and even complementing dark chocolate (even> 70%).

250ml of fresh water (filtered if necessary)
water temperature 95̊ C
infusion time, 4 minutes

notes:

It should be tasted without adding milk, or worse still lemon! However, it tolerates a slight tuoch of sugar if one cannot resist. The taste of anise married to Oolong, and its digestive qualities, make it a perfect companion after any meal.
