description

It's all about soft lines and retro touches for this wonderful electric kettle made with wood and lacquered metal. "Emma" is laquered in a beautiful light grey hue with a brilliant finish. The handle made of natural beech highlights the minimalist cylindrical shape of the jug, and adds a touch of Nordic design. Very simple to use, Emma is equipped with a base that connects to the socket, and a cordless kettle. Once the water reaches its optimal temperature, you can remove the kettle from the base and take it into the living room to serve your guests.
It has a removable anti-scale filter and a 'boil safety switch' function that turns off the kettle when the water reaches 100° C. Thanks to its double stainless steel wall, Emma always stays cool to the touch so you won't burn your hands accidentally.

HolmbäckNordentoft for STELTON
Sebastian Holmbäck (1971) and Ulrik Nordentoft (1974) met at the Danish Design School, where they both studied. Almost 10 years after graduating, they founded the HolmbäckNordentoft studio. Their common ground, and the basis for all their work, is aesthetics. The studio works on a wide range of design areas, including interior design, furniture, lighting, industrial design and product design, which is their main focus.

STELTON was born from Stellan and Carton, two friends who merged their names to form one of Denmark's best-known design brands. The brand concentrates on a design that aims to satisfy the needs of consumers and be functional. Among the many designers who have collaborated with STELTON, there are some of the cornerstones of Danish design such as Arne Jacobsen and Erik Magnussen.
The STELTON philosophy provides that form and function must create a synthesis that incorporates innovative and different ideas in terms of concept, design and materials. In the words of Mies van der Rohe "less is more". This design philosophy is the key to STELTON's success and can be summarized in four main features: Timelessness, Simplicity, Functionality, Innovation.
